Advnaced warehouse functions with basic configurations – New Feature

It is mandatory to activate directed put-aways and picks on the location card to use zones in the current version of Business Central. From version 2023 wave 1, you can use zones and a few other advanced warehouse features even with basic warehouse configurations. Microsoft has made the following features available for basic warehouse setup,

• Zones
• Movement worksheet
• Calculate Bin Replenishment task
• Bin Capacity Policy
• Warehouse class check
• Special equipment in warehouse documents

Now you can use zones for a location without activating directed putaways and picks option on the location card.

Movement worksheet can be used with basic locations (bin mandatory enabled). 

Calculate bin replenishment
Now you can use bin replenishment functionality without activating directed put-away and pick on the location card.
