Sales prepayment – Business Central

Business Central facilitates prepayment function both in sales side and purchase side. This article explains sales prepayment. 

Setup sales prepayment
A sales prepayment account should be setup in general posting setup. Normally the account will be a balance sheet account (a liability account). The account should be setup for respective combinations of general business posting groups and general product posting groups.
